Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon

The Annual AMWPA Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon was held on April 20th at Hackberry Creek Country Club with 163 people in attendance at this event. It was one of the best organized and attended.
The highlight was:
- Keynote Speaker, Dr Douglas Curran; President of the Texas Medical Association (TMA), who inspired all by his speech on preventive Health.We are sending his presentation as an attachment please do read it.
- Mayor of Irving, Rick Stopfer and his wife Melanie Stopfer.
- Mayor of Arlington; Jeff Williams
- Texas State Representative; Terry Meza
- We honored our extraordinary volunteers and 47 plaques of appreciation were presented to our volunteers at the event who have been involved with multiple Health fairs.
Dr Shahid Shafi guests included Darl Easton, George Flint, Keenan Williams, Trasa Cobern and Rich Stoglin and Sameena Karmally guest included Barbara Walters and Beatrice Lovett,
Thank you to everyone for showing your support in honoring our wonderful volunteers of AMWPA.
Our Volunteer Appreciation committee did a great job in organizing the event,all our presenter were fabulous.
