Thank you to all the Doctors, Dentists, Allied Health Professionals, Students and other Volunteers who participated in the inaugural Community & Wellness Health Fair held by the Islamic Association of Tarrant County at Al-Ibrahimi Masjid in Fort Worth, TX
Special thanks go to Surgeon, Dr Shahid Shafi, who is also a Southlake City Council Member, Betsy Price, Mayor of Fort Worth, Wendy Burgess, Tax Assessor for Tarrant County, Mary Louise Nicholson, Tarrant County Clerk, Darl Easton, Chair Tarrant County Republican Party, Judge Ken Newell, Judge Susan McCoy, Judge Kim Fitzpatrick and Judge Alex Kim for their attendance at this event.
I would like to take this opportunity to let all of you who participated in the Health Fair to know that you are all assets to our organization, AMWPA, as well as the Community at Large.
May Allah reward you all for your hard work and effort.
I am pleased to confirm that the Event was a success with 25 Doctors from different specialties, 4 Dentists and several Allied Health professionals volunteering and helping the patients that attended the Health Fair.
In addition 15 Medical Student, 7 Dental Students and 17 Pre-Med Students as well as 12 High School Students also volunteered.
